  • Document patient care accurately using EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
  • Assist with discharge planning, case management, and coordination of post-acute or home & community care.
  • Support specialized units such as ICU, PICU, NICU, trauma centers (Level I & II), emergency rooms, or outpatient clinics.
  • Ensure infection control practices are maintained across all patient interactions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients with complex needs including dementia/dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice & palliative medicine, behavioral health issues, or working with people with disabilities.

Experience
Candidates should have a diverse background in nursing with experience in multiple specialties such as:

  • Critical Care (ICU/Trauma Centers) and Emergency Medicine
  • Medical-Surgical units and Post-Acute Care settings
  • Geriatrics and Memory/Dementia Care including Alzheimer's patients
  • Pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management) and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU)
  • Home Care and Community Health services
  • Dialysis units and infusion therapy including IV insertion and medication administration
